The Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst, reporting to the Regional Commercial Controller North America(NA), is responsible to ensure the good performance and profitability, preparing and monitoring key performance indicators relating to the Canadian Commercial organization, and providing input to the Regional Commercial Controller NA, to support the commercial organization in Canada. In addition, she/he is responsible to review and approved the deals/quotes submitted by the Commercial organization and ensure they are aligned with the Corporate Guidelines.
In addition, she/he is responsible for supporting the implementation for good administrative practices and guaranteeing compliance requirements are in accordance with Company and Group Corporate Policies. She/he should have experience and maturity to liaise with the local commercial organization.
Qualifications Experience Personal Strengths Mobility
Perform activities relevant to the commercial financial targets, provide support in preparing Budgets and Forecasts, prepare and monitor Commercial financial performance and the key performance indicators in a view to provide guidance and red flags when deviations arise.
Ensure Commercial financial targets and key performance indicators are assessed in accordance with Regional Commercial Controller NA instructions with Company and Group Corporate Policies.
Identify according to Company and Group Corporate guidelines, the business value drivers related to Canada. Provide the Regional Commercial Controller NA and the local Commercial team with reporting on the business profitability, product/customer/placement, agreed upon and in accordance with the Corporate guidelines.
Prepare Bespoken reports depending upon local requirements; providing assurance
that such reports are consistent, accurate with official corporate ones.
Ensure compliance with local accounting principles, IFRS and tax local requirements on behalf
of the Canadian Commercial Organization.
Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance Preferred).
7 – 10 Years of progressive Controlling / Accounting experience.
Good business understanding together with a pragmatic working approach to deal with both the
managerial and operational aspects of the role.
Ability to effectively communicate and build trustable relationships with internal and external
stakeholders (i.e. customer orientation, team management).
Knowledge of IAS/IFRS.
Computer Literacy – advanced SAP/Hyperion/Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
Transparency, compliance orientation, sense of priority and rigorous working method to align with and support corporate procedures and deadlines.
Flexibility and change management mentality is essential.
Fluency in written and spoken English, French proficiency preferred.
