Job Scope
For over 40 years, DiaSorin has been on a mission on five continents to develop, produce and commercialize diagnostic tests for a wide range of clinical areas. Our tests are designed for hospitals and private testing laboratories, in the markets of immunodiagnostics and molecular diagnostics.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for the operations of the material planning function for the BU in accordance with Materials and Services Management Policies and Procedures. Supports all applicable regulations including but not limited to FDA, ISO, local, state and/or federal requirements.
Qualifications Experience Personal Strengths Mobility
Analyze sales trends, benchmark with sales and marketing and drive the monthly S&OP process.
Monitor MRP and take appropriate actions of releasing work orders, expediting or rescheduling to meet forecast and/or customer demand requirement.
Generate monthly production plans, monitor production progress and coordinate flow of material and documentation.
Actively manage finished goods inventory pipeline at plant level in line with KPIs.
Review MRP and generate requisitions to support the MPS.
Perform inventory valuation management, responsible for managing the obsolescene and expired material tracker.
Analyze shortages by work order and/or customer order and communicate to Purchasing, Production Management and Customer Service.
Liaise with internal customers regularly to align on priorities, commitments, constraints nd recovery plans.
-BA/BS Degree in Supply Chain related field required
-Minimum of 4 years related experience in production planning and inventory management in a manufacturing environment
-Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
-Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft applications required in specific Excel.
-Strong Analytical skills.
-Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and drive corrective actions.
-Strong leadership skills, self-directed and the ability to make independent decisions.
-Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
-Ability to effectively present information to top management.
-Support new product development and introductions and successful transition to volume manufacturing.
-Review and approve changes from a supply chain perspective and execute on follow-up actions as required.
-Lead initiatives to improve and optimize planning processes and systems resulting in enhanced supply delivery and efficient coordination of materials and resources used in manufacturing processes.
-Manage new item setup in the ERP system and maintain item master up-to-date.
-Comply with all policies and regulations related to Materials Management.
-Provide tools and reports to functional groups.
-Preform assigned tasks in accordance with applicable Environmental Health and Safety EHS regulations and Company EHS policies.
-Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
