For over 40 years, DiaSorin has been on a mission on five continents to develop, produce and commercialize diagnostic tests for a wide range of clinical areas. Our tests are designed for hospitals and private testing laboratories, in the markets of immunodiagnostics and molecular diagnostics.

Lead and support a marketing team, strategy and sales activities to achieve sales goals.
Lead a team of product managers and collaborate with other marketing managers on a larger commercial strategy
Assist product manager with development of sales support materials for new products and update existing materials, as needed.
Provide leadership to sales for target account programs and focus for sales efforts.
Develop competitive understanding and assist product manager with competitive analysis and publication of advantages and responses. Help plan competitive positioning of products.
Lead the development of innovative new products for the marketplace that meet the corporation’s strategic goals and the medical diagnostic needs of our marketplace.
Assist with planning, review, and completion of the scientific studies for development of new products. Coordinate activities with outside scientists as necessary.
Perform market analysis to identify opportunities for product development that coincide with current or expected market segment requirements. Develop product planning outlines for new products to evaluate resource requirements and EVA.

Qualifications Experience Personal Strengths Mobility
Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Life Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology) or related. Preferred: MBA
10 years Diagnostic laboratory experience of progressively more complex management in a manufacturing or development environment
Minimum of 5 years management experience
Knowledge of immunology and immunoassay technology
Knowledge of clinical diagnostic market place players, customers, distributors, and sales techniques
Knowledge and skill in using instrumentation relevant to DiaSorin operations
Knowledge of budgeting processes and the elements of a budget such as capital expense and capacity planning
Skill at preparing written materials such as reports, presentations and proposals and presenting those to customers and/or internal stakeholders
Ability to establish and apply policy, systems and practices in managing people that enhances the process of retention, motivation, reward, coaching & development
Prepare short and long term marketing plans while implementing market research tools (quantitative and qualitative)
Maintaining business relationship with KOL’s and medical associations
Understanding of Medicare reimbursement procedures
