Job Scope

Your Mission

The Scientific Affair Specialist will work along with field sales to educate clients (i.e. Director of Laboratories, Medical Doctors, Clinical Chemists, Pathologist) on technical/Medical aspects of company products through one on one, group presentations, grand round presentations as requested by the Company.

Main Responsibilities

Your Contributions

• Comprehensively understand and grasp the peculiarity of the technology application and maintenance of the related DiaSorin Products that company directs
• Prepare yearly Educational plan on the related product lines according to the yearly budget, report to Scientific Affair Manager for approval
• Implement the yearly Education plan approved by Scientific Affair Manager
• Generate scientific and technical PowerPoint presentations, and educational information, handling and responding to customers’ product inquiries, and educate internal personnel on the use of company products
• Develop, execute and manage professional relations leveraging on diagnostic science and technology related to the in-charge-products to achieve desired goals
• Develop strategic alliance with Associations, Academia & the government to enhance brand equity, through scientific programs and consumption building initiatives
• Coordinate & present scientific evidence to secure product endorsement initiatives
• Conduct product and scientific/clinical training
• Develop and maintain local KOL network to support brand initiatives
• Frequently visit end users to monitoring the satisfaction of end users

Qualifications Experience Personal Strengths Mobility

PhD is required
Major in Clinical Inspection is a must, Master’s Degree in Biomedical, Biology, Chemistry

• 8+ years working experience in Labs, hospitals or multinational companies
• 4+ years professional experience in Clinical Diagnostics and Immunoassays
• Industry experience in the Clinical Diagnostics area is strongly preferred

Technical Competencies

• Can possess an expert understanding of the field of Immunoassays and Clinical Diagnostics
• Can serve as a medical and technical resource for information on company products


• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong relationship management skills
• Attention to details and good in execution

Bilingual in English and Mandarin
