Overview

For over 40 years, DiaSorin has been on a mission on five continents to develop, produce and commercialize diagnostic tests for a wide range of clinical areas. Our tests are designed for hospitals and private testing laboratories, in the markets of immunodiagnostics and molecular diagnostics.

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager who is responsible for vendor selection, negotiations and contract management covering our Cypress, CA location. Your ability to drive improvement through strengthening business processes and team member talent will help us meet customer, business and team member needs.

What will you do?

A great Purchasing Manager can establish manufacturing strategy to drive improvement to near term KPI’s and the long-term vision. You are the focal point for scouting, new supplier introduction and supplier performance and management for optimal customer service and cost efficiency. You love to communicate cross functionally and develop and motivate engaged, knowledgeable teams.

Technical Competencies

What will you bring to the table?
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, economics or engineering field
• APICS certification desired
• Experience in project management and leading change
• Ability to facilitate meetings, ask the right questions and remove obstacles
• Experience with procurement or supply chain within the medical operations industry or other regulated business
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485 guidelines and practices
• What will you bring to the table?
