Main Responsibilities

Your Contributions

Manages, interprets, and transforms industrial data (OPEX, CAPEX, standard costs, variances, etc) into analysis providing consultation and support to internal and external stakeholders. Role will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously while supporting Operations VP, Group Industrial Controller and the local industrial organization.

Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or related field; CPA preferred
Experience

• Minimum of five years of working experience in Industrial / Finance related role
• Ability to independently compile research and perform in-depth analyses with strong attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of industrial accounting notions (standard costing, Bill of materials,
Routings, variances, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Capacity to prepare and analyze key performance indicators, management reports, budgets,
forecast.
• Experience presenting and explaining financial data and analysis to various stakeholders
• Experience using a financial ERP; SAP basic knowledge is preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Hyperion experience is a plus

Technical Competencies

• Design and monitor financial planning processes (e.g. business cases and or financial analytics) to help expose opportunities and prioritization, ensuring that projects
defined by the Industrial Management are translated into financial plans.
• Lead the budget process and assist in the forecasting process as per competence areas
• Maintain strong internal controls and policy compliance culture involving key functional leaders in accordance with all organizational policies and procedures; support during financial compliance audits Oversight of the cycle count processes

Skills

• Support month-end close and reporting process in local and corporate business reviews
• Provide on-going financial analyses relevant to the industrial financial targets, to prepare and
monitor reports and key performance indicators with particular reference to:
o Industrial variances up to the gross margin including Works Order Production Variances, Purchase Price Variances, Absorption Variances, etc
o Labor content and headcount projections to help recommend and decide on staffing right-sizing
o Inventory movements and provisions, including spoilage and obsolescence
o Industrial investments and operating expenses; coordination of regular CAPEX reviews with the Operations teams
• Lead the rolling financial benefits monitoring of cost reductions. Sustain cost reduction / continuous improvement benefits tracking
• Proactive work with Manufacturing and Supply Chain dept. to promote the constant
improvement of Bill of Materials and Routings in order to obtain accurate standards year after year
• Proactively interact with Manufacturing Dept. in order to understand and reduce further inefficiencies.
