Job Scope

Your Mission

Guarantee suitable technical support and first level assistance for application aspects (installation of methodologies, troubleshooting and initial training) taking action promptly and professionally at customer's premises. Moreover promotes the image of the Company in cooperation with the sales and specialist workforce.

Main Responsibilities

Your Contributions
  • Provide service and support to internal and external customers with regard to instrument maintenance, calibration, instrument troubleshooting and repair
  • Install the methodologies on the instrumentation at customer´s premises
  • Guarantee customer follow-up for technical and application problems
  • Make the preliminary visits to laboratories to agree on positioning of the instrumentation
  • Install and test the instruments at the customer site according to the time limits and the suitable methods
  • Understand and utilize documentation protocols and accurately and legibly complete all documentation on time consistently with GMP requirements
  • Perform and document calibration and preventative maintenance needed to keep the equipment in good working condition
  • Guarantee update and perfect efficiency of measurement instruments assigned
  • Draw up reports of the equipment activity using SGAT software
  • Manage and maintain correct accounting of own spare parts warehouse
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures

Specialization
Biomedical, Electronics or Engineering
Experience
  • 3-5 years in a field directly related to the work
  • Previous experience in the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) and/or highly regulated FDA environments and biotechnology industry
Technical Competencies
  • Knowledge and skill in preventative maintenance in installing, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining medical diagnostic or clinical laboratory instrumentation
  • Knowledge and understanding of electronics, medical terminology, chemistry, and physics
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic immunology and immunoassay technology
  • Ability to demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment
