Job Scope

Your Mission

He/she acts as the EHS contact person for the assigned area, providing the necessary EHS technical expertise to support projects and promote initiatives to improve health and safety at work and environmental protection.

Main Responsibilities

Your Contributions
  • Collaborates in identifying and proposing solutions to improve safety and accident prevention systems, also by analysing the events that have occurred, whether accidents, near misses or hazardous situations, in order to minimise the risk of accidents and incidents and increase workers' awareness of environmental issues
  • Manages investigations and administrative requests from the competent bodies and authorities and the administrative procedures, permits and communications relating to EHS.
  • Co-ordinates the necessary activities with external bodies and suppliers for the fulfilment of the periodic deadlines for equipment and facilities checks (e.g. pressure equipment, chemical hoods, chimneys, noise measurements, magnetic fields, monitoring of hazardous substances)
  • Prepares the technical documentation required for renewal or modification of authorisations (e.g. air, water), ensures that installations are constructed and/or modified and guarantees their monitoring in accordance with the authorisation issued.
  • Keeps the relevant local procedures up to date.
  • Ensures that risk mapping and assessment is constantly updated, also by updating the database on the SAP system.

Qualifications Experience Personal Strengths Mobility

Bachelor’s Degree
technical and scientific disciplines

Several years of experience (+5y) in a similar or equivalent position in a highly structured and multinational environment

Technical Competencies
  • Good knowledge of applicable regulations, multidisciplinary techniques, aptitude for legal and regulatory aspects.
  • Previous experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical sector would be an advantage
