Job Scope

Your Mission

The IT Director will oversee the IT department and is responsible for shaping and directing the technology product strategy, road-map, portfolio for the DiaSorin Inc. N. America IT platform in alignment with the broader Corporation guideline and strategy.

Main Responsibilities

Your Contributions

•Sets the strategy, roadmap and leadership for IT infrastructure projects across N. America in alignment with the broader Corporation IT guidelines and strategy

•Plans and executes all IT projects to include management of stakeholders, schedule, briefings, budget tracking, and reporting
•Develops interdepartmental and third-party relationships to further development of business solutions
•Manage IT vendor relationships and negotiate vendor agreements
•Gather and synthesize business requirements from key stakeholders for strategic IT investments
•Optimize daily IT operations and implement cost control measures
•Maintains understanding of current /new technologies and provides direction on which technologies should be introduced, integrated and assimilated
•Establish an efficient team structure and measure performance using analytics, processes and tools to aligns with the business and IT strategy. Continually looks for innovative solutions to develop the IT team.
•Forecasts future skill sets needed to acquire and/or develop a workforce with the appropriate mix of business knowledge, technical skills and competencies for future technology implementations

Qualifications Experience Personal Strengths Mobility

Bachelor’s Degree
Computer Science or related field

•Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology
•Minimum five (5) years of experience overseeing infrastructure technology projects associated with upgrading IT’s core capabilities
•Minimum three (3) years of experience in leadership with successful team management and development
•Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
•Experience managing across a matrixed organization required to deliver on complex projects
•Experience managing across cross-functional, outsourced, and matrixed teams and resources
•Strong knowledge of technical tools available in the market to drive more efficient business processes
•Experience managing IT projects and implementations in an FDA regulated environment
•Experience managing department and project budgets
•PMP certification preferred
