Gustavo Denegri

Chairman

Gustavo Denegri is the Chairman in DiaSorin as well as in "Investimenti e Partecipazioni" that he established in 1994 following a career as an entrepreneur.
In the 1970s Gustavo Denegri established and ran the automotive component company Gruppo Pro-Ind. Over the years, Pro-Ind expanded its offering both through the introduction of new products, and through the establishment or acquisition of new companies that supported its activities, and by 1985 its total turnover had reached 200 million euros.
In the same year the Group was merged into Piaggio, where Gustavo Denegri took on the role of operating shareholder with the title of Chairman and Managing Director. Under his leadership the Piaggio group went through a major restructuring, as well as a complete overhaul of its products range, which resulted in 1994 in a turnover of 900 million euros and a return to profitability. During this period Piaggio undertook a joint venture with Daihatsu and numerous other industrial and commercial agreements around the world.
In 1994, after completing the restructuring process, Gustavo Denegri sold his shareholding and founded "Iniziativa Piemonte".

Carlo Rosa

Chief Executive Officer

Carlo Rosa graduated in 1990 in Chemistry from the University of Torino summa cum laude.
In 1990, he moved to New York to work at the Public Health Research Institute on a project aimed at the development of a new innovative product for diagnosing Hepatitis CV infections.
In 1992 he joined Incstar Corporation, (MN) USA, an American Public Company, and worked in the R&D department to lead a project in joint venture with Akzo Nobel. Then he held different positions both in the R&D and the Strategic Marketing departments until he took the role of Director of the Infectious Disease Business Unit.
In 1998, he moved back to Italy to assume the role of Director of European S&M for DiaSorin Spa.
In 2001, he led a management buy out  with four other managers and a group of financial investors to buy DiaSorin from the previous owner, American Standard Inc. As a result, he became the COO of the Company until 2006 when he was promoted CEO.
In 2007 DiaSorin was listed on the Milan Stock exchange and become a Public Company.
Since 2001, DiaSorin moved from about 100 MM  in revenues to about 500 MM  employing 1700 people around the world.
In March 2016 has been elected Vice President of Assobiotec.
In 2016 he became part of the Italian Institute of Technology Foundation as Member of the Council.

Piergiorgio Pedron

Senior Corporate VP and Chief Financial Officer

Piergiorgio Pedron is the Chief Financial Officer of DiaSorin S.p.A.

Born in 1971, he graduated summa cum laude in Economics from the Catholic University of Milan.

In 2011, he joined DiaSorin S.p.A. as Group Controller, Corporate Vice President. Later he served as CFO at the North American subsidiary DiaSorin Inc for 18 months. In January 2015, he came back to Italy assuming the role of Deputy Chief Financial Officer at DiaSorin S.p.A.

Previously he served as Controller for multinational companies ­­– Jabil and Hewlett Packard ­– in North America and for De Agostini Editore S.p.A. where he held the position of Group Controller at the UK branch for 2 years.

Chen Even

Chief Commercial Officer

Dr. Chen M. Even is Chief Commercial Officer in DiaSorin S.p.A.
Born in 1963, Dr. Even has been a part of DiaSorin for 20 years and participated in the management-buy-out (MBO) in 2000. Prior to this position, he was Vice President of Export, marketing manager of Hepatitis and Infectious disease and project manager of molecular biology in North America.
Dr. Even received his Ph.D in virology and immunology from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in 1995 and B.S. in computer science in 1989. He did his fellowship at the department of Neurology in the University of California, Irvine.

Stefano Ronchi

Senior Corporate Vice President Human Resources

Stefano Ronchi is Senior Corporate Vice President Human Resources of DiaSorin S.p.A.
Born in 1960, he graduated from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome in Law.
Between 1987 and 2006 he worked for the Fiat Group, where he held various Human Resources positions, including V.P. Human Resources Comau w.w.
In 2007, he joined DiaSorin S.p.A.
The mission of DiaSorin Human Resources department is to support the management in enriching the value of the Human Capital through:
- the constant evaluation of the organizational structures necessary to support the development of future business;
- the choice of the best leaders in countries where DiaSorin has consolidated its presence;
- attention to people, awareness of their motivation and identification with the company’s culture and values, supporting personnel in developing their talents.
DiaSorin aims to develop its personnel, creating a culture of respect and merit, helping them to nurture their talents.
